Ohio Town Orders Man To Take Down Zombie Nativity Scene

Jasen Dixon, a Sycamore Township man who manages a haunted house in Indiana, built the manger scene with zombie-like figures standing in for Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus and the three wise men.
But town officials following up on two anonymous complaints found that Dixon's handmade nativity scene violated zoning codes.
The structure takes up more than 35 percent of Dixon's front yard, which is a violation, Greg Bickford of the Sycamore Township Administration Office told WLWT. Dixon faces a $1,000 fine if he doesn't take the display down by noon on Friday.
The town does not "regulate displays for content," Bickford assured WLWT.
Dixon's fiancee, Amanda, told the news station that the nativity scene wasn't meant to offend anyone's religious beliefs.
