A statue of Cristiano Ronaldo was unveiled on Sunday in Madeira, Portugal, the island where the star soccer player grew up. And it's ... something.
The statue, pictured below, depicts Ronaldo in some extremely body-hugging shorts.

Some on Twitter pointed out that the statue seems to depict a bulge in the soccer player's shorts.

For his part, however, Ronaldo didn't seem fazed.
"This is a very special moment, to have a statue of me," he said at the statue's unveiling ceremony, according to the Times of India. The Real Madrid forward was joined by his family and droves of fans.
The statue is part of Ronaldo's personal museum on the island, which includes his many awards, the Times of India reported.
The museum's memorabilia will likely expand, too, as Ronaldo is reportedly favored to win the FIFA Ballon d'Or (basically an MVP trophy) in January. He has already won the award twice before.
Earlier this year, Ronaldo competed in the 2014 FIFA World Cup for Portugal. On Saturday, Real Madrid defeated Argentina's San Lorenzo to win the Club World Cup.
