How to watch 'The Interview' right now

Sony surprised the Internet on Christmas Eve by making The Interviewavailable to watch online. Many believed the film would be permanently shelved following a massive cyberattack on Sony Pictures Entertainment.
You can watch The Interview, about an assassination plot against North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, right now. We've compiled a list of links of where you can download the film, below:


The Interview can be rented and purchased on YouTube.
A prompt will come up within the YouTube video screen asking if you'd like to rent for $5.99, or buy for $14.99.

Once you enter your payment information, the movie will start playing. In addition to, The Interview will be available on the video-sharing website's app, Chromecast, Apple TV, PlayStation and Xbox.

Google Play

The Interview is also available for purchase and rent on Google Play at the same prices as on YouTube. It's offered in HD or standard definition.
The transaction is payable via Google Wallet, Google gift cards or PayPal. Google Play downloads work with the Play Movies and TV app, Android and iOS phones and tablets, Chromecast, Roku, and the Nexus Player.

Xbox Video

The Interview is available through Xbox Video for the same rental and purchase prices as on YouTube and Google Play. However, you'll need a Microsoft account to make the transaction.
You can watch the movie on, the Xbox Video app, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows 8 devices and Windows phones.

Sony has launched where you can download The Interview. It's powered by Kernel, a movie-download service that offers a "backstage" look at upcoming films. At first, the film was loading very slowly, but things seem to be in working order now.

Although it doesn't seem like you can buy The Interview on the website, it's available for a 48-hour rental at $5.99.
