Tara Reid attends the NBC 2014 Summer TCA held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday, July 14, 2014, in Beverly Hills, Calif.
What's that smell? It's just the odor of a C-list celebrity capitalizing on fame from a made-for-TV movie.
Tara Reid, star of Syfy's Sharknado film series, is selling her own perfume. Sure, the concept is a tried-and-true facet of today's celebrity culture, but here's the catch — Reid's perfume is called "Shark."
sharking shocking part of this news? The perfume does not smell like, or from what we know, contain actual shark. Instead, it "incorporates a plethora of lavender colored flowers." Are sharks and lavender flowers linked in some way? No, it's just Tara's favorite color, her website says.
"Shark by Tara is a light and refreshing perfume, perfect for day-to-day wear," the site adds. We'd expect nothing less.
The perfume retails for $24.95. And we hear Tara's second fragrance "Chainsaw Hand" will be out early next year.
