Heads up: Your 140-character observation about tampon commercials could become a short film.
At least this was the case for Twitter celeb Kelly Oxford, whose joke about a tampon commercial is one of three tweets featured in a newly-launched web series by Twaggies.
The world won't change until there's a tampon commercial where the girls are all curled up on couches and angrily drinking wine.— kelly oxford (@kellyoxford) March 15, 2012
Since 2009, Twaggies has illustrated others' funny tweets into funny, consumable cartoons. But now they're extending this into a monthly crowd-sourced web series which will showcase one or more funny tweeters around a central theme.
Twaggies' pilot episode of the web series is called "Grammar Nazi's Rock?" and features a tweet by Steve Martin about "rogue apostrophes."
However, you don't have to be of Steve Martin's caliber to be featured in this video series. Twaggies promises that its keeping ears open to all the funny, up-and-coming voices across the blogosphere.
